Hythe Marine Park

Solent Refit is one of the UK’s newest and most unique independent large yacht refit and repair facilities.  Located in Southampton Water on the South Coast, Solent Refit provides waterside and undercover facilities for the repair and refit of superyachts up to 90 metres. 

The site forms part of Hythe Marine Park, one of the areas most successful marine business parks, home to Green Marine and a host of other UK marine companies.  Since being established the facility has attracted interest from across the world, and has  featured on the Superyacht UK Tour of Excellence since 2008.

An integrated refit and repair facility, Solent Refit incorporates undercover working areas of upto 7,500 square metres (80,000 square feet) and railed slipway capable of slipping boats upto 700 tonnes.  Waterside working platforms and quay walls provide the opportunity for waterside repairs with depths upto 4 metres and direct access to Southampton Water.  All berths, covered and undercover working bays are provided with metered power and water and flexible office and storage space are also available. 

The facilities are capable of hosting steel, alloy or composite projects, and a wide flexible range of local suppliers exist with the skills to cover all aspects of survey, design, project management and supply and fit out.

Workforce

mainly concentrated in small to medium sized enterprises who can
support your requirements. 

Site Improvements

The site is owned by the Homes & Communities Agency and is benefitting from a current major upgrade programme.
